BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025 : Age Limit as on 24/08/2025

● Minimum Age : 18 Years
● Maximum Age : 25 Years

● For trades of Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Plumber), Constable (Painter), Constable (Electrician), Constable (Pump Operator) and Constable (Uphoister):
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
(b) (1) Two years certificate course from Industrial Trainina Institute (ITI) in the trade or similar trade; or
(c) One year certificate course from Industrial Tralning Institute (ITI) or Govemment affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one year experience in the trade;

● For trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tallor), Constable (Washerman). Constable (Barber), Constable (Sweeper) and Constable (Khoji/Syce):
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
(b) Must be proficient in respective trade;
(c) Must qualify trade lest in the respective trade conducled by recruitment board.

● For the trades of Constable (Cook), Constable (Water Carler) and Constable (Walter):
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board:
(b) National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) level-lCourse in food production or Kitchen from National Skill Development Corporation orfrom the Institutes recognized by National Skill Development Corporation.
