The following eligibility criteria may be considered carefully by the applicant while submitting the application for the appointment / engagement of CBI Special Public Prosecutor (Retainer Counsel) to conduct the Prosecution, Appeals, Revisions and other matters arising out of cases investigated by CBI in the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta :-

Special Public Prosecutor (i) Education Qualification – LLB
(ii) Enrollment Certificate as an advocate with the Bar Council.
(iii) Experience at BAR of handling criminal matters in Courts including the High Courtş.
(iv) Unconditional willingness / consent to work on the general terms & conditions approved by Government of India from time to time.
(v) A minimum experience of 10 years as an Advocate with experience in handling criminal matters.
